Katie is based in BARRIE, Ontario, Canada. She makes a living as an art teacher, but she has many varied artistic interests that she juggles and divides her time between. Her main focus is DIGITAL ART, but she is also a PAINTER, WRITER, and dabbles in VIDEO and PHOTOGRAPHY.
Aside from her comics, Katie's recent work is mostly of the DIGITAL variety, but she still does TRADITIONAL art as well. Some of her more random work can be seen on TUMBLR. You can can also find her on DEVIANT ART.
When called upon, Katie is happy to produce POSTERS and LOGO DESIGN. Occasionally she can be convinced to do WEB DESIGN, but coding annoys her, so she much prefers to stick to print and layout.
Katie consider myself a storyteller who crosses many mediums, but she does enjoy the timeless expression of the WRITTEN WORD. She occasionally writes short stories, but tends to veer toward epics. Thus, she maintains a few long-term projects, such as her fantasy series A KEEPER'S PROMISE. Currently, she's writing a science fiction novel called APOTHEOSIS, which will likely become her next comic series.
Most of Katie's poetry resides in SCRIBBLES in the margins of her notebooks and never makes it on the web, but she keep a few around from her CREATIVE WRITING days.
Katie owns a SONY A77, which she adores, and it has become her faithful partner when exploring beaches, trails, and generally TRAIPSING AROUND. Check out her FLICKR. She loves editing, so she also dabble in VIDEO work and enjoys being that weird person who coerces co-workers into making silly parodies.
